Test. Train. Recover.

All in the building where they already play

Our Approach

We Measure. We Don't Guess.

Most youth training is a generic workout handed to whoever shows up. Ours starts with data and is built by clinicians.

Objective Testing

Every athlete is assessed before they're programmed — jump, landing mechanics, strength balance, mobility. We reassess so you can see what changed.

Position Specific

An athlete learning to land isn't a varsity hitter managing shoulder volume. Programming reflects the difference.

Semi-Custom Programming

Programming is tailored to each athlete's level, so they build real weight-room fluency — confident, correct lifting technique that acclimates them to training and prepares college-bound players for the demands of a collegiate strength program.

Travels With Them

Programs follow your athlete to the weight room, the hotel, the off-season. Tournament weekends aren't lost time.

Guided By Doctors Of PT

Injury prevention and prehab are guided by the doctors of physical therapy at One Nine Sports Medicine — the clinicians who treat these injuries: ACL, jumper's knee, shoulders, ankles.

Programs

Two Training Tiers

Open to boys and girls, indoor and beach. Both tiers are built on position-specific training and injury prevention — what changes is age, experience level, and how customized the programming gets. (Recovery is a third tier — see pricing.)

Tier 1 · U15–U18

Performance Training

For experienced athletes ready for individualized programming. Boys & girls, indoor & beach.

  • Full assessment included, with a program built for your athlete
  • Individualized — not a shared group workout
  • Advanced position-specific training and injury prevention
  • Vertical jump, shoulder durability, return-to-play coordination
  • Recruiting measurables for college-bound athletes
Tier 2 · U12–U15

Group Training

For younger and developing athletes (placement by training experience). Coach-led, semi-customized. Boys & girls, indoor & beach.

  • Learn the fundamentals and basics, led by a coach
  • Position-specific movement from day one
  • Injury prevention — landing, ankles, knees, shoulders
  • Semi-customized programming for the group
  • Benchmarks you can watch improve
Recovery

Recovery On Site

Two tools, used properly, after the sessions that matter most.

Normatec Recovery Boots

Compression recovery for legs after hard practices and long tournament days. Reserve a station and use it before you leave the building.

Hyperice Massage Tools

Percussion therapy for targeted soft-tissue work — shoulders, quads, calves — before training and after competition.

Need more than recovery? Wave athletes get a free consultation at any One Nine Sports Medicine location. Physical therapy is provided at One Nine's clinics, not at Wave.

Questions

Good To Know

How does the three-month commitment work?

Every membership starts with a required three-month term, because that's roughly how long it takes to see real physical change. You're responsible for all three months. If you cancel during the term, the remaining months are still charged. After three months, your membership continues month to month and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice — no further payment, and no refund of what's already been paid.

What if my athlete gets injured?

Wave Agility & Strength is a training and recovery facility — physical therapy is not provided at Wave. What Wave athletes get is a free consultation at any One Nine Sports Medicine location, with doctors of physical therapy who work with volleyball athletes every day. If treatment is needed, it happens at One Nine's clinics, and we coordinate the return to training when your athlete is ready.

What are the three tiers?

Tier 1, Performance Training (U15–U18), is for experienced athletes and includes a full assessment with individualized programming built for that athlete. Tier 2, Group Training (U12–U15, placed by training experience), is for younger and developing athletes — coach-led, learning fundamentals, with semi-customized programming. Tier 3, Recovery Only, gives access to the Normatec boots and Hyperice tools on site. Every tier is open to boys and girls, indoor and beach. Both training tiers are position-specific and built around injury prevention — recovery can be added to either.

What recovery tools are on site?

Normatec compression boots and Hyperice percussion tools. Both are available with the Recovery Only tier or as an add-on to a training tier, and sessions are reserved in advance so a station is always open when you arrive.

Can I cancel a single class?

Yes — cancel up to 24 hours before the class starts through your member portal and it doesn't count against you. Inside 24 hours, the session is forfeited.

What if my athlete goes in-season?

You can freeze your membership. A freeze extends your term end date by the length of the pause, so you don't lose time you paid for.

Do you work with beach players?

Yes. Beach athletes carry much higher serve and swing volume across two players, plus a lot of unstable-surface work. Programming reflects that, and we run testing events that produce measurables for college recruiting.
